How we make Chicken Pickle Boneless

It is impossible to believe that there exist people who do not like chicken curry or kebabs etc. except for vegetarians. All of the varieties made with chicken may not have a longer shelf life. Today, in this article we will explain how you can make a chicken pickle that has a longer shelf life. This way you will not only save money but also enjoy chicken almost every day. Read on!!

  • 1 cup oil
  • 1/2 kg boneless kitchen
  • 1/2 tbsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp Garlic-ginger paste
  • 2 or 3 lemons

Step 1: For this, you need to cut the chicken into small pieces. Since we will be frying the chicken it is better to cut them into small pieces.

Step 2: Add 1/2 tbsp turmeric and 1 tbsp of salt to the chicken. Mix these three ingredients thoroughly.

Next, to make the masala; fry the below ingredients and grind them to a fine powder.

2 tbsp coriander seeds ( dhaniyaalu)
1 cinnamon stick (dalchin chekka)
3 cardamom pods (yalakulu)
4 cloves (lavangaalu)

Dry roast the above four ingredients and further add

1/2 tbsp cumin (jeelakara)
1/4 tbsp fenugreek seeds (menthulu)
1 tbsp mustard seeds (aavalu)

Add these ingredients and roast them well. Once done roasting, grind this mixture into a fine powder.

Step 3: Next, dry roast the chicken till the water in it evaporates. Once done, take another pan and add 1 cup of oil. Wait till oil is heated, add the dry roasted chicken pieces.

Fry these pieces till they become solid. Once the pieces have turned to golden colour, take out the pieces from the oil.

Step 4: Add 2 tbsp of ginger-garlic paste to the oil in which you have fried the chicken pieces. It is better to avoid store-bought garlic – ginger paste.

Step 5: Once you have fried garlic – ginger paste, add chicken pieces and the masala mixture as well.

Step 6: Further add 1/4 cup salt and 1/4 cup red chilli powder. Once this whole mixture starts bubbling turn off the stove.

Step 7: Once the chicken pickle has become cool (room temperature), add lemon juice to it. Squeeze 2 or 3 lemons depending on the size and add the juice to the chicken pickle. Mix the pickle thoroughly and store it in an airtight container box.

That’s it!! Chicken pickle is ready to savour. Make sure there is no water contact with the pickle to extend its shelf life. You can even refrigerate this pickle for a longer shelf life.

Note: Make sure to not overtly fry these chicken pieces. They should be chewable and not hardened.
